FAQ

  • How do I sign up for a class?

You can sign up online through our Schedule Page

We recommend signing up ahead of time — classes often fill, and it guarantees your space. If you need to cancel, please do so within our cancellation window so someone else can sign up in your place.

  • What are your pricing options?

We offer flexible ways to practice — from drop-ins to memberships.

    Drop-in: $22 per class

Class Packs: 4, 10, and 20-class options (with expiration flexibility)

Memberships: unlimited monthly with or without contracts.

Each option includes access to in-studio and evenutally livestream classes. You can view all pricing and purchase directly on our Pricing Page.

  • Do I need to sign up ahead of time?

Yes! We require signing up in advance s. It guarantees your spot (and saves you a scramble at check-in).

Walk-ins are welcome only for our $5 Community Classes if space is available.

  • What should I bring to class?

Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a towel (especially for heated classes). We have mats and towels available if you forget.

Wear comfortable, breathable clothes you can move in.

  • I’m brand new to yoga. Which class should I take first?

Welcome — you’re in the right place! Our Basics and Yin classes are great starting points to learn the basics, move mindfully, and build confidence.

Every teachers class at Heart Flo offer options and modifications so you can move at your own pace. Just show up, breathe, and begin.

  • Where are you located and where do I park?

Heart Flo Yoga is located at 1901 Horton Rd. Unit 6, Jackson, MI, inside the Southpointe Plaza.

  • Do you have heated classes? What type of heat do you use?

Yes! Many of our classes are heated using infrared panels, which provide gentle, even warmth that supports muscle flexibility and relaxation without creating stuffy or dry air.

Infrared heat warms the body — not just the room — helping you move deeply, breathe fully, and leave feeling refreshed (not overheated).

  • What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, breathable clothes you can move and sweat in. Classes are done barefoot or in sticky socks to help you stay grounded and steady on your mat.

  • Can I leave early or arrive late?

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. There’s a 10-minute grace period after class begins. After that, we lock the doors and your spot is forfeited.

If you absolutely need to leave early, let your teacher know before class begins.

  • Can I practice yoga if I’m injured or pregnant?

In most cases, yes — but always check with your doctor first. Let your teacher know before class so they can offer safe modifications and support.

We’ll help you move mindfully and adjust as needed, but your safety and comfort always come first.

  • What is your cancellation policy? Do you offer refunds?

Please cancel at least 1 hours before class to avoid losing your class credit or being charged. No-shows or late cancellations are not refundable.

We do not offer refunds on class packs, memberships, or events, but credits can often be used for future classes within their expiration window depending on circumstance.

  • Do you offer private yoga sessions?

Yes! We offer private and small-group sessions tailored to your goals — whether that’s building confidence, working around an injury, deepening your practice, or just having the studio to yourself.

Email kate@heartfloyoga.com to schedule or learn more about rates and availability.

  • Do you livestream or offer online classes?

    Coming soon.

  • How do I prepare for my first hot yoga class?

Come well-hydrated and avoid meals 2 hours before class. Bring a water bottle, towel, and yoga mat.

Wear light, breathable clothing, and plan to arrive a few minutes early to get used to the heat. Most importantly — listen to your body, take breaks as needed, and enjoy the sweat!

  • Can I bring my kids or teens to class?

Our regular classes are designed for ages 14 and up. Teens are welcome with a parent.

Younger kids can join during special family or kids’ yoga events — keep an eye on our schedule or social media for upcoming sessions!
