  • Founder/Owner/500 hour E-RYT

I was trained by Hilaire Lockwood at Hilltop Yoga in Lansing, MI. I taught for many years at Yoga DeeplyArt in Jackson, Mi with my dear friend & teacher, Avé Veneklasen. I am a 500 hour experienced registered yoga teacher (500 E-RYT)

My teaching honors all eight limbs of yoga, including a deep emphasis on movement as medicine as well as meditation and stillness. Turning inward is the true teacher. I aim to keep true to the ancient traditions of yoga and honor the lineage passed down to me from my teachers (Hilaire via Maty via K. Pattabhi).

  • 200 Hour CYT

Mirian began her yoga practice at home in 2014 but after some encouragement from a friend and fellow teacher Kate Burns she finally stepped foot in a yoga studio where the yoga really found her! Instead of looking at herself from the top down like she had in the past she was able to finally understand what it meant to build herself up from the ground up. Her yoga practice was where she was able to overcome fear, gain self confidence and truly become her. All of this lead her to want to dive deeper into the practice where she discovered that nothing was impossible anymore.

In 2017 she completed her 300 YTT studying under Hilaire Lockwood at Hilltop Yoga in Lansing, MI. Mirian continues to grow her yoga practice by participating in workshops focusing on mainly on anatomy. Teaching yoga has been one of her greatest pleasures, she practices to teach and teaches to continue to learn.

Giving perspective and relief from the vicissitudes of life yoga is a multi-branch tree with the physical postures being one of the branches..Come join me on a journey to transcend what we believe ourselves to be, exploring all the branches from the tree of life that is yoga, with spirit, breath, and courage..."The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." -Lao Tzu

  • 200 hour RYT

Kendra Riley discovered yoga while living with her now husband in West Virginia. Looking for some sort of community and to make new friends she joined a yoga studio where she found comfort and peace and a deep appreciation for the practice.
Upon raising three young children and moving back to her hometown of Jackson she decided to pursue her passion for yoga and completed her YTT 200 training and certification with Kate at Yoga on Kibby.

Outside of yoga and motherhood Kendra is a classically trained artist receiving her bachelors degree from Kendall College of Art and Design. Some of her jewelry can be found here in town at Crimson Oak and her work is in private collections across the nation. Just as she enjoys sharing her art with the community, she now is honored to share yoga with the community through her teaching.
